This is a beautiful cherry slice hand made by myself, mounted on an elm plinth with a polished stainless steel rod. The slice has been enhanced with electric blue resin infill within the natural splits of the dried wood. The slice has then been finished in crystal clear epoxy resin givin a high gloss finish. The plinth has been decorated using the lichtenberg fractal burning technique  giving the effect of lightning burned into the wood
